The location — “by the giant trash can!”, people told you almost proudly — used to be a bonus. Now it’s on the rim of the green hulk of a multi-storey building that the Santa Market has become, so the street cred has understandably waned, but for a delightful Rp 5,000 a portion, this perfect gado-gado is still a veritable crowd-pleaser and my personal favourite.
